We look after the computers, network, servers and accounts your business runs on — watching them, keeping them updated, and answering the phone when something stops working.
What you get
- One number to call when something stops working, whoever supplied it
- Updates and patches applied without anyone having to remember
- Someone who already knows how your setup is put together
- New starters set up before their first day, not during it
- Problems found and fixed before they spread across the office
- Licensing bought through one supplier instead of six renewal dates
What we look after
Most of what breaks in a small business sits across several suppliers, and the gaps between them are where days get lost. This is the ground we cover.
Computers & people
- Windows laptops and desktops
- New starter and leaver setup
- Microsoft 365 accounts and mailboxes
- Shared drives and permissions
- Printers and scanners
- Company phones and tablets
Network
- Routers and firewalls
- Wi-Fi access points and coverage
- Switches and cabling faults
- VPN and remote access
- Internet faults chased with the provider
Servers & licensing
- Servers in your office
- Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing
- Server licences and the user licences that go with them
- Moving files and email to a new system
- The industry software your business runs on
Keeping it running
- Patching and updates
- Backups, and testing they restore
- Antivirus and multi-factor sign-in
- Monitoring and alerting
- Documentation of your setup
Microsoft licensing
Licensing can come from us along with the support — Microsoft 365 and Azure, or server licences for machines in your own office.
Three ways to do this
Which one is right depends on what you already have. We'll tell you honestly.
Fully managed
We are your IT department. Everything above is ours to look after, and your team has one number to call.
- Right if nobody internal wants to own IT
- Helpdesk, monitoring, patching and onsite included
- We hold the relationships with your other suppliers
Co-managed
You already have someone who handles the day-to-day. We sit behind them for the bigger pieces, the specialist work and the things one person shouldn't carry alone.
- Your person keeps the relationships and the context
- We bring tooling, monitoring and a second opinion
- Cover for leave, and for the week everything happens at once
Projects and advice
No ongoing arrangement — a specific piece of work. A move, a migration, a server replacement, or a straight answer about whether something is worth doing.
- Office moves and new site fit-outs
- Microsoft 365 migrations, and tidying up a messy setup
- A review of what you have, with no obligation after it
How it works
Helpdesk that knows you
A small team who've seen your environment before, so you're not explaining it from scratch every time. You reach people who can actually fix the thing, not a queue that reads it back to you.
We spot most of it before you do
We watch the things that fail quietly — disks filling up, backups not running, certificates expiring. Most of what we fix, nobody had noticed yet.
Fixed without booking time on anyone's desk
A small piece of software on each computer lets us update it, keep track of it and fix things while your team carries on working. It is also how a laptop that has been off for three weeks gets caught up the day it comes back.
Microsoft licensing on the same bill
We're a Microsoft Partner, so the licensing can come from us along with the systems it runs on — Microsoft 365 and Azure, or server licences for machines in your own office. One supplier, one renewal to think about.
Onboarding and offboarding
Accounts, devices and access set up for new starters, and properly closed off when someone leaves. The second half is the one that gets forgotten, and it is the one that matters.
We deal with your other suppliers
The internet provider, the printer company, the people who wrote your industry software. Chasing them is work, and it is work you're paying someone to do either way.
Onsite when it's needed
Most things are fixed remotely. When they can't be, we come to you — we're on the ground in Auckland, Taranaki and Wellington, and support customers remotely across the rest of New Zealand.
Written down, not in someone's head
How your setup is put together gets documented as we go. It is how a different engineer can pick up your job — and it means the knowledge is yours, not ours to hold over you.
Common questions
Do we have to move everything across at once?
We already have someone who does our IT. Is this a replacement?
What happens to our existing equipment?
How do we log a job?
Do you actually come onsite, or is it all remote?
What does "proactive" actually mean? Everyone says it.
We're already with another IT company. Is changing painful?
Can you supply our Microsoft licensing too?
